FASTING 2023

Prepare yourself both spiritually and naturally. 

Please Note: If you are sick or on medication, please consult your doctor before engaging in the fast. 

We will meet Fridays at 7pm in the Church Sanctuary, to pray together during the fasting period. 

WHY DO WE FAST? 

We fast to humble ourselves before God. 

Before the fast, identify your reason and purpose for the fast. As a church, we dedicate 21 days at the beginning of the year to humble ourselves before The Lord, seek for direction and to hear from Him. 

“Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions.” Ezra 8:21
